Awards Committee

The Awards Committee is comprised of five or more Past Presidents of the Society and is chaired by the Immediate Past President. This Committee provides a formal mechanism for selecting candidates for awards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure orderly process in selecting candidates for the Honorary Fellow of the Society Award and the Distinguished Service Award.
• Review Outstanding Poster Awards and select recipients.
• Review nominations for Honorary Fellow and make recommendations to Council for approval.
• Make recommendations for the Distinguished Service Award to Council before each Congress.
