The ISSCR Board of Directors consists of 21-30 individuals and includes those who hold the office of president, president-elect, vice president, past president, clerk and treasurer. The Board of Directors and Officers are elected by the ISSCR membership for three year terms. Elections are held annually for available positions. Nominations are made by ISSCR members and candidates are slated by the Nominating Committee with an emphasis on scientific authority and overall international diversity of the board.

The ISSCR Nominating Committee
, chaired by Rudolf Jaenisch, is soliciting nominations for Board of Directors positions which will become available in June 2016.
The ISSCR actively seeks international representation on the board. Nominations can be made by current ISSCR members and should include the nominee's contact information. All eligible candidates will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee for possible slating in the general election that will begin in February 2015.
