New this year, the Clinical Advances in Stem Cell Research (CASC) is a half-day program held the day before the ISSCR 2017 Annual Meeting. In disease-focused tracks, leaders in current and translational therapies will explore the current clinical landscape, advances in cell therapies, and how stem cell research is being applied in the clinic. The three independent tracks, held in parallel, will each have a separate focus: immuno-oncology, neurodegenerative diseases, and ocular indications. See below for more information.
Who Should Attend?
Physicians, physician-scientists or others working in oncology, neurodegeneration, and the eye, with an interest in understanding the successes and challenges in moving cell therapies into the clinic for the respective disease area.
Attendees can register for one of the following CASC sessions:
Confirmed speakers include:
- Kapil Bharti, PhD, National Eye Institute
- Hardy Kagimoto, MD, Healios, K.K.
