1. Do I need to be a member to attend the ISSCR Annual Meeting?
No, you do not need to be a member to attend. However, members receive discounts on registration, special networking opportunities at the event, and have access to the full range of ISSCR services year-round.
2. How can I change my registrant type to member?
If you already started the registration process for the Annual Meeting as a nonmember but wish to become an ISSCR member before completing registration, please complete the ISSCR membership application and forward your email confirmation to membership@isscr.org with a request to complete registration at the member rate. We will adjust your registration and email you with further instructions.
3. What comes with my registration?
When you register for the full Annual Meeting you receive:

  • Admission to the largest exhibition hall dedicated to stem cell science

*One-day registration includes admission to all educational sessions, exhibits, poster sessions and social events scheduled for the day purchased. You may register at this rate for one day only.
4. How can I log back in to update my Annual Meeting registration?
You may update your name badge, add optional networking events, or add a hotel stay to your registration. To log in, click here. You can access your record using the same email address and password as when you registered.
5. Can I book a hotel room or change my reservation after I register?
Hotel reservations are separate from meeting registration and can be found here. Be sure to book your room before 30 May to secure ISSCR discount rates. Hotel selection is subject to change based on availability.
6. How do I cancel my registration?
Please submit notice in writing to isscr@isscr.org by 6 May, 2016 to request a refund, minus $150 USD cancellation fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after 6 May, 2016.

Late Breaking Abstracts

1. How much is the submission fee for Late Breaking Abstracts?
There is a $90.00 USD non-refundable charge to submit a Late Breaking Abstract. Pay with VISA, Mastercard or American Express credit card.
2. When will I be notified whether my Late Breaking Abstract has been accepted?
Late Breaking Abstracts submitted before 1 April will be notified mid-April. After 1 April, notifications will be sent within 10 business days of submission. The deadline for submission is 2 May, 2015. Every effort is made to accommodate abstracts meeting the submission standards described in the Call for Abstracts
3. Will my Late Breaking Abstract be eligible for an oral presentation?
No, Late Breaking Abstracts may only be presented in the poster sessions.
4. Where will my Late Breaking Abstract be published?
Late Breaking Abstracts will be viewable online in the ISSCR meeting planner and on our mobile app and in a downloadable pdf. They will not be included in the final program or electronic abstract book.
5. May I apply for a travel award or poster award with my Late Breaking Abstract?
Late Breaking Abstracts are not eligible for these ISSCR awards.
6. I started a regular abstract but did not complete the submission. Can I use this for my Late Breaking Abstract?
You will have to start a new record for your Late Breaking abstract. Your previous records, completed or incomplete are not accessible.
