Notifications were emailed to all abstract submitters on 11 January. Oral and poster presenters must be registered by 23 January to be included in the program. If you have not received your notification please contact abstracts@isscr.org

  


Abstracts submitted for Translational Opportunities in Stem Cell Research will now be reviewed and considered for poster and oral presentations that report new research within the following topic areas:

  • Cellular Disease Modeling
  • Modeling Tissue Development
  • Emerging Technologies
  • Drug Discovery 
  • Other

Abstract Submission Deadline [NOW PASSED]: Wednesday, 7 December, 2016 at 11:59 PM CT USA

Poster and Oral Presenters notified by: Tuesday, 17 January, 2017

Poster and Oral Presenters must accept and register by: Monday, 23 January, 2017


  • Abstract Submission Agreement

Poster Presentations

  • Posters should fit in a 1 meter by 1 meter space. If you need to print using a standard size, A1 in landscape orientation. Adhesive will be provided.

  • Presenters can set up their poster on Monday, 27 February from 12:00 to  17:00. Posters will be displayed throughout the symposium and can be removed on Wednesday, 1 March from 14:30 to 17:00.


  • Abstract Submission Agreement

Submission guidelines:

  • Submission Agreement: Each abstract submitter must accept The ISSCR International Symposium Basel 2017 Abstract Submission Agreement

  • Presentation Type: Each abstract must be submitted as an oral or poster presentation. Abstracts that are not selected for an oral presentation will automatically be considered for a poster presentation

  • Presenting Authors: Each abstract may indicate only one presenting author who will receive all abstract-related correspondence and will be responsible for relaying information to all co-authors. (Data required: first name, last name, gender, affiliation, full mailing address, email address, phone number, and career stage)

  • Co-Authors: Each abstract submission may include a maximum of 24 co-authors. (Data required: first name, last name, affiliation, affiliation location and e-mail address)

  • Abstract Title: The abstract title is limited to 175 characters (not including spaces) 

  • Abstract Content: The abstract body text is limited to 2,000 characters (not including spaces), must be formatted as one paragraph, and should not include section titles, tables, graphs, charts, diagrams, authors or references

  • Funding Source(s): Authors may list funding sources (limited to 200 characters not including spaces)

  • Fee(s): There is a non-refundable $30.00 USD abstract submission fee for each submitted abstract. This payment does not constitute the meeting registration fee and must be made by credit card
