Thank you for attending!

The International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) together with the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD) - Research Center and Cluster of Excellence at the TU Dresden presented Stem Cell Models of Neural Regeneration and Disease International Symposium 1-3 February, 2016. The symposium was full of engaging speakers, quality posters, and exhibiting companies covering all laboratory needs. View pictures from the symposium to the right.

Stem Cell Models of Neural Regeneration and Disease will highlight the latest directions of neural stem cell research, including emerging techniques in model systems, that are moving the field to new understandings of disease and toward therapeutic applications. Hear from leaders in neural stem cell biology and neurodegenerative disorders, those who model neural regeneration, and  those who are driving stem-cell based products into clinical trials.

  • What to Expect

ISSCR and CRTD are proud to present an exceptional scientific program in an engaging, intimate atmosphere. The meeting will begin with an opening overview by Oliver Brüstle in the afternoon of Monday, 1 February and conclude on the evening of Wednesday, 3 February. There will be plenty of opportunities for interactions among all levels of attendees. Lecture sessions will be supplemented with:

    Lunch discussions with speakers

Opportunities for abstract selected talks, poster teasers and poster presentations

    Social and networking events

Topic-defined break out groups to foster in-depth discussion and networking between attendees.

  • Who should attend?

Academic, industry and clinical researchers interested in neural stem cell biology and its therapeutic applications are encouraged to attend and share their research. Attendees will hear from leaders in the field and benefit from the convivial atmosphere and open exchange of ideas found at this symposium.

  • What Sets International Symposia Apart?

International Symposia are focused meetings that bring together approximately 400 attendees and 100 posters in addition to many exhibitors with innovative technologies. The goal is to provide a platform where attendees and the field’s leading researchers can learn about the latest science and foster collaborations.

Strong programs that include presentations by world thought leaders and are designed to explore a topic in greater depth than may otherwise be possible.

Smaller, intimate conferences that allow for relaxed interactions among attendees and speakers during social hours, lunches, dinners and poster receptions.

The latest tools and techniques to advance your research and your career from exhibitors who want to aid your work.
