The ISSCR’s Regional Forum Series expands the global reach of our educational programming with two additional events in 2013. Designed to complement the ISSCR Annual Meeting, Regional Forums are held in more intimate settings and provide a focused look at specific topics within stem cell research.
ISSCR is pleased to present "Stem Cells in Translation," a program reflecting the major role of European research centers in the exciting transition of stem cell research to clinical relevance. The program is designed for in-depth exploration of topics including cell and gene therapy, cell fate control, defining regenerative mechanisms, tissue homeostasis and lineage epigenetics, while providing ample time for thought-provoking discussion set amidst the picturesque Tuscan countryside.
The overarching goal of the conference is to provide a platform to learn while fostering collaboration and facilitating discussion among the field’s leading researchers about what is needed to translate stem cell research into cell and gene therapies in a relaxed and comfortable environment. This focused meeting is expected to draw more than 500 attendees and hundreds of posters in addition to exhibitors with innovative technologies that will enable translational research.
Scientists with an academic, clinical and industrial background who are interested in the translation of stem cells into clinical application.
