Presented by the ISSCR Ethics and Public Policy Committee
Wednesday, June 16, 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

In this highly interactive workshop, participants will explore the many emerging ethical issues in human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell research. Through a series of short speaker presentations and small breakout group discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to examine in depth issues involving somatic cell donors’ rights, informed consent, and controversial uses of iPS cell lines for research. Members of the ISSCR Ethics and Public Policy Committee will lead all small group discussions.
