ISSCR Appoints New Executive Director
Northbrook, IL — The International Society for Stem Cell Research is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Witty as its new ISSCR Executive Director. Witty has held administrative positions in multiple university settings, served in executive appointments at several national scientific and medical organizations and most recently served as Associate Director of Research Administration at NYU’s Child Study Center.
Witty replaces Greg Schultz, who served as ISSCR’s Executive Director from its inception three years ago. Schultz will continue to serve in an oversight and advisory role with ISSCR.
The International Society for Stem Cell Research is an independent, nonprofit membership organization established to promote and foster the exchange and dissemination of information and ideas relating to stem cells, to encourage the general field of research involving stem cells and to promote professional and public education in all areas of stem cell research and application.
