Presenter Checklist
Now that you’ve been accepted to present, ISSCR recommends all speakers and poster presenters:
- Invited speakers’ registration fees are waived and will be indicated when you register
- Abstract-selected speakers must be registered by 10
April, 2019 - Poster presenters must be registered by 2
May, 2019 to be included in the program

If you’re a speaker:
- Include disclosures within the first two (2) slides of the presentation
- Link available in late May
Review and download the Presenter Information pdf or Invited Speaker Information pdf
Access the Speaker Presentation Portal to upload your photo, bio, and intended presentation format. Access link and credentials sent individually.
Create your presentation in the 16:9 display format; it must fit within the appropriate time constraints
Practice your presentation to ensure it fits within the allotted time
Save your presentation file with the day, room, time (24hr time) and
Upload the presentation file to the Speaker Presentation Portal
Create a backup copy of your materials and bring it with you in your carry-on luggage

If you’re a poster presenter:
- Use images, charts, diagrams, etc., with limited text to attract attention
- Posters must fit in a one (1) meter by one (1) meter space
- The ISSCR recommends:
- Use 36-point type for section headings and 24-point type for text
- Print a single sheet (size A1 in landscape orientation) for easy transportation
- Use muted colors for background and bright colors for borders to separate poster sections
- Avoid reflective or plastic-coated paper
- Structure your poster similarly to a research paper or journal article
- The ISSCR recommends:
- Brief sections:
introduction (rationale or review of relevant research), methods, results, conclusion/summary, and key references list - Optional: Add a photo of the presenting author to help attendees identify you

Create your poster to visually present your research or clinical project:
Due to fire regulations, no tables, chairs, or electrical hook-ups will be allowed near the posters
You must make your own arrangements if printing your poster in Los Angeles.
