Ground Transportation

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately 14 miles and about 30 minutes from the Los Angeles Convention Center. Please note that traffic can be heavy at various times of the day so please allow yourself some extra travel time.

There are many options to travel into the city from LAX, including public transportation, taxi cabs, ride share services such as Uber or Lyft, and multiple shared van/shuttle services. Your hotel may also operate a shuttle to and from the airport. Learn more about your options on the LAX website.

ISSCR has secured a discounted rate with an airport van service, SuperShuttle. To book an advance reservation to and from the Los Angeles Airport (LAX), please use this dedicated booking portal and enter discount code HFFCJ.

In addition to SuperShuttle, FlyAway Bus provides frequent non-stop transportation between LAX locations throughout the city. FlyAway operates seven days a week. Tickets can be purchased using a credit card at the bus pick-up area at LAX.  The current rate for a non-stop one-way from LAX to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles is $9.75 USD (subject to change)

LAX is also served by the Los Angeles public transit system. To reach the Los Angeles Convention Center, take the Metro Green Line from Aviation Station east toward Norwalk. Transfer to the Blue Line at Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station. Travel north on the Blue Line toward Metro Center; exit at Pico Station.
