The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Cystic fibrosis is fatal hereditary disease but for some patients, their symptoms can be relieved and life prolonged by certain drugs. These are costly however and only patients with certain genetic mutations are eligible. How can we identify others that may benefit without unnecessary inclusion of non-responders? Stem cell organoid models represent one possible answer. The scientific, clinical, patient, and regulatory aspects of this issue will be considered by the panel that includes the experts and a patient whose life was saved by the “organoid assay”.
