The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Thank you for agreeing to give a presentation at ISSCR 2021 Virtual. To provide the best experience possible, we have provided this set of guidelines to help you prepare your presentation and know what to expect during your presentation time.
Session Chairs, moderators, and panelists without slide presentations: refer to the MEETING PLATFORM, and PRESENTATION DAY sections below.
Direct any speaker questions to your session liaison or Liz Weislogel lweislogel@isscr.org
First, become an ISSCR member and register for ISSCR 2021 Annual Meeting.
When creating your presentation, please keep in mind the following:
Logging In
The 2021 Annual Meeting platform, hosted by Juno, will open on Thursday, 10 June. You must be registered for ISSCR 2021 Virtual to access the platform and your session. Complete your registration here. To login to the meeting platform, please use your ISSCR credentials that you used to register and/or renew your membership.
Technical Check
To check your internet connection, please click on this link. It is best to test your internet connection on the SAME computer, camera, and microphone you plan to use on your presentation day.
Speaker/Presenter Training
ISSCR will schedule speaker training sessions. It is highly recommended to attend these sessions. Invitations will be sent early to mid-May. If you cannot attend the training live, you will be able to watch a recording on your own time.
Download the Presenter's Information guide and watch a recording of a training for more help. If you have technical issues after reviewing the training materials, contact Liz Weislogel lweislogel@Isscr.org
Profile and Speaker Directory
The meeting platform will include a Speaker Directory available to all meeting attendees. If you have not already done so , please upload a brief biography (100-150 words) and your headshot picture (jpg format preferred) for the Speaker Directory by 9 May using this link.
We encourage you to complete your attendee profile once you log onto the event platform. This profile is NOT the same as your listing in the Speaker Directory.
Abide by the ISSCR Meeting Embargo Policy
Abstracts selected for poster or oral presentation are embargoed from the time of submission until the time of presentation. Abstract content may not be announced, publicized, or distributed before the presentation date and time in any way including blogging and tweeting. ISSCR does permit promotion of general topics, speakers, or presentation times.
This embargo policy applies to all formats of abstract publication—including abstracts in electronic or print version of Annual Meeting Program Book and Poster Abstract Book, online via the Program Planner and Poster Abstract pdf, Society’s website(s), and other presentations.
During Your Presentations
You will present while sharing your screen. You will be able to use your cursor as your pointer.
After your presentation, you may have additional time to answer questions moderated by the session chair.
After Your Presentation
Once your session is done, you may proceed to interact on the platform as an attendee. You will not need to log out or sign-in with another account.
Sessions will be available on-demand approximately 24-hours after the session ends and available through the end of July.
Rebroadcast
Plenary and Theme sessions are rebroadcast with live chat 12 hours later. Although not compulsory, we welcome all speakers to the rebroadcast of their session to interact with attendees in the live chat. As a global event, we appreciate that the timing may not work for all speakers. If this is a convenient time for you, please log in to interact with attendees in the chat.
Add your presentation to your CV, LinkedIn profile, and ResearchGate page. Consider submitting your research for publication in the ISSCR's open access journal, Stem Cell Reports.
