About the ISSCR
With more than 4,000 members from over 60 countries, the ISSCR is the preeminent transnational, cross-disciplinary science-based organization dedicated to stem cell research. Formed in 2002, the Society promotes global collaboration among the world’s most talented and committed stem cell scientists and physicians, and plays a catalyzing role in the development of effective new medical treatments.
The Board of Directors and Officers are elected by the membership and provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the organization. Nominations are made by members, and candidates are slated by the Nominating Committee with an emphasis on scientific authority and overall international diversity of the board.
The ISSCR Awards Portfolio recognizes outstanding achievements and research potential in the field of stem cell research around the world. We encourage nominations and applications from the full breadth of the field.
