The Early Career Researchers Paradox: Leadership Without Seniority
An ISSCR Webinar
Program Description: Leadership is often viewed as something that comes later in a scientific career, yet early career researchers are already expected to lead projects, collaborate across disciplines, and navigate complex professional relationships. This webinar explores what leadership means at early career stages and how it evolves across academia and industry. Bringing together perspectives from both senior and emerging leaders, the session will examine mentorship dynamics, the development of transferable skills, and the challenges of leading in international and interdisciplinary environments.
The webinar will take place on 27 October 2026 at 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. EDT
