Core Concepts in Stem Cell Biology: Syllabus and Learning Guide

Developed to assist instructors teaching stem cell biology at the undergraduate or graduate level, eight modules follow key topics in stem cell biology, each with learning objectives, core concepts, a bibliography of primary and secondary literature, and annotated foundational papers.

This syllabus examines different types of stem cells in the body and in the lab, dissects key concepts of pluripotency, specification, and differentiation, and covers cutting-edge technologies used to study stem cells. At the end of the course, students will have a basic understanding of stem cell biology and be able to build upon this in upper-level courses.
