Organizer Description:. BMA2026 will bring together a global community to share the latest fundamental and clinical advances in bone marrow adiposity (BMA). Our programme will span diverse clinical and scientific fields related to BMA, including endocrinology, rheumatology, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, radiology, oncology, haematology, molecular and cellular biology, genetics, imaging, physiology and pharmacology. Our participants will include clinicians and scientists from around the world.
We are the only international meeting dedicated to BMA and are held in affiliation with BMAS – The International Bone Marrow Adiposity Society. Recent advances include deep-learning-enabled population-scale BMA analysis and cutting-edge single-cell and spatial omics methods to elucidate marrow adipocyte formation and function. BMA2026 is designed to showcase these advances while fostering the collaborations that turn discovery into better diagnostics and therapies.
