Nominations Are Open for the 2027 ISSCR Board of Directors and the Society’s Annual Awards
Nominations are now open for the 2027 ISSCR Board of Directors and the Society’s annual awards.
The strength of the ISSCR comes from the expertise, perspectives, and contributions of its global community. This fall, members have two important opportunities to engage with the Society – helping to shape its future leadership and recognizing individuals and groups whose contributions are advancing stem cell science and the field.
Nominations for both opportunities are due on 16 October 2026.
The ISSCR Announces 2026 Election Results for Vice President and Board of Directors
The International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) is delighted to announce the results of its 2026 election for leadership positions, including vice president and members of the Board of Directors.
The election of this leadership cohort reflects ISSCR’s continued evolution as a global platform advancing stem cell science from discovery through clinical impact. With expertise spanning translational science, emerging technologies, ethics, and global policy, the Society is well positioned to guide the responsible and effective advancement of the field at a pivotal moment.
The ISSCR to Open Elections for Officers and Directors 20 February 2026; Must be a Member in Good Standing to Cast a Ballot
Casting a ballot to elect ISSCR’s leadership for the Board of Directors offers members the opportunity to help shape the Society’s priorities. This year, elections will open on 20 February 2026. Community members interested in selecting our future leaders must have an active ISSCR membership by 11:59 PM EST (USA) 19 February 2026.
