The ISSCR to Open Elections for Officers and Directors 20 February 2026; Must be a Member in Good Standing to Cast a Ballot
Casting a ballot to elect ISSCR’s leadership for the Board of Directors offers members the opportunity to help shape the Society’s priorities. This year, elections will open on 20 February 2026. Community members interested in selecting our future leaders must have an active ISSCR membership by 11:59 PM EST (USA) 19 February 2026.
Eligibility
To cast a ballot, one must be a Student, Post-doc, or Full Member of the ISSCR in good standing by 19 February 2026.
Casting a Ballot; Two Opportunities
Eligible members will receive an email with a ballot and may:
Indicate attendance at the ISSCR Member Business Meeting in person at 8:30 a.m. PDT (USA) on 20 March 2026, at the UCLA Meyer & Renee Luskin Conference Center, 425 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095, USA to cast a ballot.
Indicate assignment of your proxy. The proxy delegate will represent your confidential election ballot. This must be done by 19 March 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST (USA).
What is a Proxy?
Proxy voting allows a voter to delegate their voting power to a representative, should they be unable to attend an in-person meeting where voting is taking place. Therefore, eligible members who do not plan to travel to the 20 March 2026 meeting in Los Angeles, USA, must cast a proxy ballot electronically to participate in the election. The proxy delegate will not know how any individual votes. The data is managed confidentially by a third-party voting platform.
Who is the ISSCR Election Proxy Delegate?
ISSCR Past President, Amander Clark is the appointed proxy delegate, and ISSCR member, Melissa Carpenter as the alternate if Amander Clark is unable to attend the Meeting in Los Angeles, USA on 20 March 2026.

Eligible members will receive a link to the electronic ballot via email on 20 February 2026.
Results
Election results will be published in ISSCR News and on the ISSCR website shortly after the election. Terms for the elected Officer and Directors will begin following the ISSCR Annual Meeting in July. Please visit the ISSCR website for information on the candidates.
