2026 Board of Directors Election Nominations

The ISSCR Nominations Committee will evaluate nominations for Vice President and three Directors for the 2026 election.

Nomination and Election Process

Self-nominations are encouraged. Please note, if you nominate a colleague, the ISSCR will contact them to complete a short nominations application confirming interest and availability.

The Nominations Committee will review all nominations, based on core competencies and areas of expertise, with an objective to ensure diversity within the board. Final candidates will be asked to provide a biography and a statement of interest in the role, which will be included on the election ballot. All current Student, Postdoc, and Full members are invited to vote on candidates in early 2026. Candidates are chosen by majority vote. Election results will be announced in April 2026.

Nominations are due by 22 October 2025.

Board of Directors

There are three open Director seats for the 2026 election. The committee is seeking the following expertise:

  1. Next generation technologies (AI, 3D, Engineering)

  2. Ethics

  3. Industry/investment

Vice President

The Vice President serves four years on the executive committee, first as Vice President, then Incoming President, President, and Past President.
