  • SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) 2 North Terrace Adelaide, SA, 5000 Australia (map)

Organizer Description: Join leading neuroscientists from around the world for an inspiring international meeting dedicated to advancing our understanding of the human brain. The symposium, organized by Prof. Dr. Cedric Bardy and MaxWell Biosystems, will highlight cutting-edge approaches of studying and modeling the brain, with the aim of driving faster clinical translation in neurology and psychiatry. Over the course of two days, participants will benefit from a series of curated talks featuring the latest breakthroughs and perspectives in the field. In addition, a hands-on one-day workshop will provide practical training in generating and analyzing human brain tissue in vitro. Attendees will gain experience with advanced electrophysiology techniques and drug screening using neural organoids as well as 2D/3D bioprinted tissue models. This event offers an exceptional opportunity to learn, network, and exchange ideas with some of the most accomplished experts in neuroscience today.
